Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a Purchasing & Compliance Assistant to join a dynamic team in California. This role is perfect for individuals who have a knack for organization, process management, and administrative support while looking to gain valuable exposure to purchasing and supply chain functions.

Responsibilities

• Support purchasing activities and manage purchase order processing.
• Assist with inventory replenishment and monitor order tracking.
• Keep track of supplier shipments and lead times.
• Track and document inventory movement accurately.
• Maintain and organize purchasing records, logs, and supporting documentation.
• Oversee compliance-related documentation and reporting.
• Review documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Track certifications, records, and compliance requirements.
• Facilitate communication with suppliers and internal teams.
• Contribute to process improvements and administrative projects.
• Provide backup support for related administrative functions as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in administrative, purchasing support, inventory, or compliance roles.
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Benefits

The position offers a competitive pay of $28.00 per hour.

Additional Details

This is a temp-to-hire position with 100% onsite work in San Jose, CA. The role offers exposure to purchasing and compliance functions, providing an excellent opportunity for career growth.
